The doors for most shows open at 7pm and the show starts at about 8.15pm, finishing around 11pm.  On Mondays we have a late bar. Fri & Sat we have our classic disco until late.

Please note, for touring shows we open the doors at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm.

Is there an age restriction?
The club is strictly 18′s and over. If any members of your party look 25 or below, they are advised to bring photo I.D. or entry may be refused. We accept driving licenses, passports and “Prove It!” cards.

Is there a dress code?
There is no real dress code at the Frog and Bucket, although we do discourage sportswear and Football shirts are not allowed, hats are not allowed to be worn in the venue.  Jeans and trainers are allowed.
We also discourage hen/ stag themed fancy dress.

How do I perform at the Frog and Bucket?
Most people will start at our weekly new act competition “Beat The Frog”. To get a spot at Beat The Frog please e-mail Hannah on : hannah@frogandbucket.com. Please note that it may take her a little while to get back to you as we have over a thousand people on our Beat The Frog mailing list. We do NOT take bookings via the phone.

How do I book tickets?
You can book tickets 24 hours a day through our website. If you would like to speak to us here in the booking office then please call 01772 200 902. We are open Monday – Saturday 10am to 6pm.

What are the Concessions?
We offer concessionary rates for students, Emergency Services, charity workers, serving military, NHS staff, registered carers, social workers and teachers.  Proof of status must be shown on the night.
Fridays – £7 instead of £13.  Saturdays – £8 instead of £15.

Can I book seats?
If you book your tickets in advance, you will be seated unless you are told otherwise.  We can seat 160 people and we sell standing tickets after that at a reduced rate. Wednesdays are on a first come first served basis, so come early!

Can I get tickets on the door?
There are usually some tickets available on the door if you come early enough but we would always recommend booking in advance as it guarantees you a table, especially Friday and Saturday night shows where the seats tend to sell out up to 2 weeks in advance. We then sell standing tickets.

If we can’t make it, do you offer refunds?
I’m afraid we don’t offer refunds, but if you can’t make it and you let us know in advance, we can usually transfer your booking to another show so you don’t miss out!

Are there booking fees ?
Bookings taken through the Frog and Bucket office do incur a non refundable booking fee of £1.50 per ticket (Max. £15 booking fee charged).  Bookings through Ticketscript incur a £1 per ticket booking fee plus a processing fee.

How do I pick up my tickets?
We don’t issue physical tickets. We work on a reservation basis, all you need to do is bring the card that you booked on with you on the night, and quote the booking name on the door.

Do you cater for Stag and Hen parties?
We do cater for stag and hen parties, and if you contact our booking line we have packages to cater to all your needs.  The management reserves the right to refuse a booking for a particular date on the policy that we try and ensure an even balance of males and females in the venue.  Book early to avoid disappointment.
Single sex parties of 10 + will be subject to a £10 per person security deposit on the door on the evening.

Do you have disabled access and facilities?
We do have disabled access into the venue and access to the disabled toilets via ramps, and you will be at a table with a good view of the stage.  Prior notice helps us seat you at a table suitable for access.  There is parking on Oldham Street outside the venue after 6pm.

What are the house rules?
We request that you turn off mobile phones.  We ask customers to keep any table chat to an absolute minimum during the show. Anyone deemed to be disturbing the show for other people will be asked to leave with no refund.
Management reserve the right to refuse entry if any members of the party are deemed too intoxicated on arrival.

Do you hold bookings provisionally?
We no longer take provisional bookings. Bookings need to be paid for in full or alternatively you can secure a booking with a five pound per ticket deposit. Please note the outstanding balance must be paid off a week prior to the show.

Is there parking available?
We do not have a patron’s car park here at the Frog and Bucket but there is plenty of on street parking that is free after 6pm. There is also an NCP car park to the rear of the building.

If you have any further questions, please contact the venue.
