What you can expect.

We can guarantee a fantastic night out in the Frog and Bucket with our cabaret style seating, friendly staff and great comics you get the best possible atmosphere for comedy.
The Frog and Bucket brings you the finest acts from the National and International Comedy Circuit and boasts world class line ups all the year round, but we always go the extra mile around the festive season with some of the best, award winning stand ups from around the world.

Our doors will open at 7pm for our evening shows so your party will have plenty of time to have a drink before the show starts at around 8.15. If you were opting for the Christmas meal we would ask that you be in the venue by 7.00pm. Anyone not eating with us is welcome to join us for drinks at 7.00pm; otherwise we request that you are in the venue by 8.00pm.

The night will be introduced by one of our world class comperes and features two top flight headliners playing extended sets with a short break in between to charge your glasses!
For Christmas we have several banqueting tables of ten to add a bit of glitz and glamour to your night out, you can also speak to the booking office about pre-ordering your wine, champagne or purchasing drink vouchers for your staff

We’re confident that we offer the best night out in town. Not only do you get top quality acts at the best venue in town, you also get our legendary classic disco through ’til 2am so you can dance the night away to the best disco anthems and guilty pleasures.

Party Packages and Prices

To ensure it’s the talk of the office we at the Frog and Bucket aim to provide the best possible night for your Christmas party. And what better way to celebrate the festive season than with top-flight entertainment, delicious grub, and our legendary disco? We understand that organising a staff party can be hard work so we have a variety of shows and packages to choose from to suit your party’s budget and availability.
For parties of over 80 people the Frog and Bucket is available for hire on Sundays. We can design and tailor a show to your needs and offer specialised menus. To arrange this, please call the booking line.

Most shows are inclusive of a meal but some shows have an option of with or without a meal. We can further tailor your booking by adding extras to your party package.

New Year’s Eve

We don’t just do a great Christmas at the Frog we also do the best New Year’s Eve party in the North West and this is a reputation we take very seriously! We take every measure to ensure that you have the most memorable New Year’s Eve ever!
New Year’s Eve is the pinnacle of the Frog calendar; as such we put on the cream of the crop. Three top of the line headline acts and one of our fantastic local comperes guarantees us repairing the roof on the 1st of January!
The most memorable strike of Midnight! It’s the crucial moment where ’12 turns into ’13; it’s the one time of the year where it’s acceptable to run around kissing complete strangers, so we like to make a big fuss about it with:Live chimes from Big Ben!Huge Confetti Cannons!

Auld Lang Syne sing-a-long with the DJ!

And to cap the night off our legendary cheesy disco ’til 3am! After the show has finished, we clear the dance floor so you can dance your way into 2013 to our cheesy classics from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and now!

Booking

Due to the popularity of our Christmas and New Year shows we get fully booked some months in advance, so if you’re planning to come along to a show we suggest you book early to avoid disappointment.
We are able to take provisional bookings for Christmas parties. You then have until two weeks after the booking is made to make a deposit, after this time is we have not received a deposit the tickets will be realised again for general sale. We will require a deposit of £10 per person (with buffet) and £5 per person (without buffet) and we require the final balance in one instalment by the 1st of November.
