Laughing Cows and Friends!

Don’t miss out on the first every Laughing Cows showcase which invites our male friends on stage!
See the boys ‘stand up for women in comedy!’ They have been doing it in the background for years, so now is the time to celebrate this together.

Laughing Cows is proud to announce a fantastic night of comedy to raise funds for some of the forthcoming 2010 Edinburgh Showcases.

We have teamed up in this endeavour with fabulously funny Phil Ellis who is also taking a show to Fringe.

Laughing Cows Comedy will be running the full three weeks of Edinburgh Fringe from the 5th – 30th August 2010, see our website for full details. HERE

Your compere for this very special evening will be the Laughing Cow’s very best boy friend who has supported us for many years - Vince Atta.

VINCE ATTA

"An unstoppable force, forging a brilliant rapport with the audience, like an intravenous shot of adrenaline!"    Steve Bennett, Chortle.

BARBARA NICE

"As hilarious as it is possible to get” The Scotsman

"She doesn’t just blur the gap between audience and performer-she obliterates it" Edinburgh Evening News

ISMA ALMAS

"She has a great set with some fantastic material. She left everyone in her slipstream." Chortle

PHIL ELLIS

“Ellis sets such a cracking pace… he flits around the audience with his frisky, easy banter spreading a feeling of good-humoured fun.”  Chortle

DES SHARPLES

“Sharples has that indescribable ‘star quality’ that separates the jobbing comedian from the naturals” – Chortle

Scott Capurro goes MUCH deeper

Scott Capurro is a stand up comic, actor, playwright and author. He's performed comedy in all English speaking countries, including San Francisco, the cultural oasis from where he hails, and Scotland, where English is barely spoken, and where he won the prestigious Perrier Award for his first one-person show, ‘Risk Gay’, at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He can be regularly seen on Channel 4’s ‘8 Out Of 10 Cats’.

Scott is now excited to be touring the UK with his new show ‘Scott Capurro Goes MUCH Deeper’ which asks the difficult questions on everyone’s lips, such as:

Are children ever really “missing”?
Is Maddy the new Jesus?
Is Jesus the new Hitler?
Is Hitler a Jew thing?
Speaking of victims, are the poor necessary?
Does every person deserve a home?
Does every Tory deserve a moat?
Why are the homeless (men) so hot?
Why are hot Muslims so angry?
Are war veterans really heroes, or just out of work killers?
