The Chortle Student Awards: Semi Final

The Chortle Student Comedy Awards have previously helped the likes of Inbetweeners star Simon Bird, Joe Lycett from BBC1′s Epic Win and Lloyd Langford from Ask Rhod Gilbert (also BBC1), take their first steps in comedy.

The 2012 competition has attracted the biggest number of entrants yet, and after scouring the country with 13 nationwide heats, the very best have made the two semi-finals. Here’s you chance to see the best new comedians at the dawn of their careers.
