Well, I think it's fair to say that was a fantastic show. Standard was consistently high and some of it was extremely high. The future of stand up is looking very rosy.


Jason Cook presided over the evening in fine style with a very camp shirt	James Blood opened the show and suffered a little because of it.


Lovely packed out Frog.	Chris Stokes tells jokes. Not the greatest gig he's had here, but still very good. Chris wasn't placed tonight but to my mind, he is one of the best new acts on the circuit.


Sean McLoughlin with some well written bitter lines.	Curtis Threadgold has some brilliant ideas, but it needs a little development. He received an excellent response.


Chris Sharpe with an excellent performance. Very confident and professional for a new act.	Ben Lawes is (I think) the newest of all acts in the competition but he acquitted himself very well.


Andrew Ryan had a corker of a gig.	And to close the competition, the excellent Sam Gore.

Roger Monkhouse rips the arse out of it!	I give a little speech and thank the departing Claire for all her hard work.


In third place, Chris Sharpe receives a bottle of red.	2nd place Andrew Ryan celebrates with his prize of Champagne.
