I really thought it'd be absolutely dead with it being so soon after New Years Eve, and I didn't think any of the students woudl be back. How wrong was I? It was nice and busy with a great atmosphere and all the acts doing well. Stephen Chalis was in a slightly different league though.


Jonathan Mayor opens the show	Steph Davies is first up and makes it her mission to take on the heckler at the front table with some very near to the knuckle put downs!


Sean Moran is the next of the 10 spots to get up and warmed the crowd up nicely.	Phil Lyngood opens Beat the Frog and has a good stage prescense but his material needs work. - 2:20


Jonathan reiterates the rules!	Ben Traynor as Stephen Challis. An inspired comedy creation and he even stayed in character to deal with someone's phone going off.

Laura Duff makes her Beat the Frog debut and despite nerves and having one green card up for most her set...	....she Beats the Frog and is very happy about it!


David Blair with a respectable 3:55	One of my favourite acts of the night, Daisy with a cracking routine about Barbie - Beat the Frog


Anthony Shumacher has a very solid gig with a good crop of new material.	Rhiannon makes her Beat the Frog debut and deals with the hecklers in style. - Beat the Frog
