10/5/04 - Stop Molesting the Frog!

What an absolutely blinding night!  Packed to the rafters with one the best audiences we've ever had at Beat the Frog and the show was a corker!
Jonathan Mayor was the perfect ringmaster (ahem) for the evening. Owen Niblock opens the show with my favorite song, "Frog Skimming".
Dave Bishop is the 2nd of our warm up acts.  With his usual brand of Bishop anger and mirth. And with a simple wave he set fire to the Frog and Bucket...
Adam Bowman kicks off Beat the Frog and was getting a good response.  then I blinked and the cards were up!  That's show business I guess.... - 2:10 Roland Gent once again un happy with the roof at the Frog, decides to readjust it with a stormer! - Beat the Frog
The crowd lapped it up! Anthony Schumacher doesn't do quite so well and never really managed to grab the audience. - 2:30
The very odd Ross Wagman with a great set. - Beat the Frog. The crowd certainly seemed to get him.
Jonny Clare with one of his best gigs yet. - Beat the Frog Vince Atta makes a Frog debut, albeit briefly.... - 1:20
Andy Watson...... ....tries to have sex with the frog....
....and then the stage. The audience love it though and he rips it up to Beat the Frog.
Steve Middleton.  His first gig with some bizarre material that got him a great response and he Beat the Frog! Steve's mates are certainly enjoying it!
Gino Evans with a very energetic set. - 4:15 Daniel Jones with a brief trip to the Frog and Bucket stage. - 1:20.
Paolo Ferrari sees green - 1:25 The line up: - Roland Gent, Ross Wagman, Steve Middleton and Andy Watson.
Gino Evans gives it up for his act of choice Roars from the audience as they are trying to decide a winner.
And your winner, improving his looks with the Frog's head, Mr. Roland "pugwash" Gent. The very camp Dave Williams with BBC GMR's Michelle Mullane.
Michelle broadcasting live from the Frog and Bucket. The Outside Broadcast unit.
